Across two mornings in Cape Town and Johannesburg, we sat down with IT and security leaders to answer a question every Apple business is now facing: what AI is actually running on your Macs, and can you see it, control it, and prove it? With Jamf, we walked through the new AI Governance solution on a live environment, then talked frankly about where the real exposure sits and what a defensible posture looks like.

The backdrop is stark. In Jamf’s survey of 687 IT and security leaders, 72.9% of organisations have already deployed AI, 22% have had a cost or security incident, and the deepest adopters report incidents at the highest rate. The takeaway from the room was consistent: adoption isn’t the risk, ungoverned adoption at scale is.
